"Rain Down Love 2014" by Freemasons feat. Siedah Garrett
Originally released in 2007, Freemasons have re-released "Rain Down Love" on their new record, "Shakedown 3." The was one of my favourite club jams back in the day, but I would argue that this re-release is even better than the original. This new mix has a pulsating house beat that is sure to raise the temperature on the dance floor.

"Sweat (NovoGain Dance Radio Remix)" by Xelle
Xelle is a group to watch. JC Cassis and Rony Goffer are icons of the NYC club circuit and have served consistent megapop tracks over the past couple years. "Sweat" is drenched in hot club beats and this remix from NovoGain cranks the heat up even higher. Watch out for my interview with Xelle next week here on IshTalk.

"Get Down (Yeah, Yeah)" by Peter Brown
Peter Brown (also known as Pierre Jean Brun) hails from France and makes his debut on Koolwaters Recordings with this fresh new track. If you're looking for a straight-up house groove to work the dance floor into a frenzy, this jam is for you! This cut is oozing with funk, class and dramatic chunky percussion beats.

"I'm Every Woman / Respect" by Aretha Franklin
This brilliant cover of Whitney Houston's "I'm Every Woman" mashed up with Aretha Franklin's "Respect" is absolutely giving me life this week! While her new album of diva covers isn't out until next week, it has leaked onto the web early, receiving critical acclaim. This is one of those jams that takes me right back to my roots and it's great to see Aretha keeping it current with those house beats. At 72, sounding as good as ever, she remains a true vocal force to be reckoned with!
